So let's get started. Enjoy.

Wouldn't you do it?

Natasha Miller:

You can't scale and grow business until you learn the foundations, the bedrock, the core things that you have to do in a business.

Drew Jackson:

Whenever you're in a conflict like that, you really have three options, you can address the problem, have a conversation with the person that you're having conflict with, change the department you work in, whatever the case is, you can get over it, or you can quit.

Mohan Ananda:

I think do what you want to do, don't worry about other things. So same thing from in person, whatever your interest is, you sharpen it, enjoy and do it. Same thing in the people in the middle. Ofcourse, we are happy, continue to do but if you want to do something, there is no other experience, it won't be later, there is nothing different is going. You want something, do it.

Jimbo Paris:

All right, so the first set of people, or the first person, at least that would like to run through is going to be Fred Kienle. And I'll tell you right now, he's a very, very great person to speak to, a very positive attitude. He's always smiling. And you know, he just has an amazing perspective in life. And you know, when it goes back to that old saying, you know,"old people always know what they're talking about." He definitely proves that statement correct in a lot of ways, because he shows a lot, you know, attitude is about your mood. And additionally, your mindset. And attitude for him was always upbeat, always great. Even in his childhood, he would go in depth talking about how he would spend time with his family didn't really grow up in a very wealthy environment, yet he was always so positive and so happy. And he said, always have no good attitude, can guarantee a happy life. And that shows them. And attitude is crucial. Because even though in life, you may get ups and downs, the fact that your attitude is always up here, You can get rid of all those ups and downs. Because with this man's life, it was just one up, that's very, very critical, especially with entrepreneurship as well, you always need to have a good attitude as an entrepreneur, always, you need to be positive, and you need to just, and again, he goes into this to "Gratitude", this is the next quote."You have to be grateful for where you are. And that gratitude is a part of your attitude." Knowing what you have right now is critical as an entrepreneur. Because I think as entrepreneurs, we get too caught up with what we actually want. And we ended up forgetting what we actually have. That's critical. That's key. And additionally, this is a very important mindset to have, you know, sitting down every day just thinking okay, what am I grateful for? What am I grateful for? What am I grateful for? Most people don't think about. So that's the key. Think about these things. And, again, this will take you places that you've never even dreamed of, I realized, at least with me, when I began to not chase certain things in my business, I began to just show gratitude. In what I already have the following I already have the people that I already have, I began to see more growth, rather than worrying about little things like, oh, you know, little things, at least at the start of the business. I was so concerned about, you know, getting the next show up and running. But what I really needed to focus on was just being grateful for the episodes I already had, and to kind of use those episodes to build off on what I've had, if that makes any sense and it even goes as farther to say, you know, I'm grateful for the following I have now I'm grateful for all those things I'm not worried about my future following or what will happen in the future about that. I'm grateful now for the amazing set of people that are watching my show and enjoying my content now. And because of that, right now is my high point. I'm not worried about having a high point in the future. It's already here right now. And it should always be here. So the next point I'd like to hit, generally is going to be... Natasha is the next person I like to discuss. So "Be resilient. Okay. You have to be relentless, and you need to pursue your dreams." Okay. Oh, well, let me phrase it's not enough to be resilient, you have to be relentless. So being relentless is the idea that you just need to keep going. You need to have grit, you need passion, and you need perseverance. And perseverance is what relentless is really focusing in on. Resilient is just about taking one hit, Relentless is about just going through no matter what, having one setback in your business or in your life, whether that's health, you know, mindset, entrepreneurship, that's not what's really going to get you to the next level, it's getting through those constant arrows that ever those constant setbacks, I can go back to, you know, a lot of my experiences in both entrepreneurship, but also in college as well. I was, even though I'm, you know, a fairly good student now, and I've made honors, at first I was, you know, struggling a lot. And that key to being relentless was really what happened. It was one setback. But then I went through that one setback, and I get through the next setback. And now I go through that one. And again, I was having a hard time getting things done. Now, I always love working, you know, beforehand, I would be extremely stressed out by just taking classes. Now. I could take classes while focusing on my health while running my business. And I can make honors while juggling this and all these other things. It's easy now. Why? Because I was relentless. I took the hits, and I kept moving forward. And that's the key. It's not about just dealing with one setback, life is about dealing with multiple setbacks, but you move forward even farther after dealing with those setbacks from the past. So "The shortcut to everything is do the work, do the learning." So this is the next step. I think this is a point that most people don't hit. The key to really hitting a level of mastery in anything is through experience. And experience can only be attained when you actually continue doing something again and again. Why am I so understanding of running a So "I'm not afraid of putting other people out there so that business? Why why is my business at the stage where it's at now, it's because of experience. And when you build that experience from doing the work, you then are able to then do the learning Additionally, as well. And most people just can't take that first step. I remember a lot of people, there's certain people that will come to me for mentorship. And this one person was very eager to start a business. And they were talking length and length about all the different things that they wanted to do to run this business. And I had to stop this first. And I had to be like, Look, what's the first step? I understand you want to do all these amazing things. But the first step is the key. Once you get that first step, you could then do the second step and the third step and the fourth step and the fifth step, then you could do all those steps. Right now, what's that first step? Once you get that first step done, you can do it. Now, you must do the learning additionally, too. So after you do that first step, then you need to sit down and then you need to do some research. You need to think to yourself, okay, because again, it's a Ready Fire than aim again, mindset. After you've done the readying and firing, you got to aim now, where are you aiming? So with Natasha Miller, she was a very successful woman, she built a lot of experience in business around the idea that she was sitting down and working in business schools, learning her craft, learning or trade in business. And a lot of times she was working with prototype businesses that the professor would throw out. And then she would give suggestions on how this business should play out whether this business would fail or succeed. She was going in there doing the work, and additionally doing the learning. And by going in there, and challenging herself. And again, you can learn more about that in the interview I did with there we go very in depth on her experience there. She began to attain that experience, and eventually it led to her success. And now she's advising businesses growing businesses. And she's a very good example of what you can accomplish as a successful entrepreneur. And again, the key is she took that first step, she went into Harvard did that course she did those things. And now she was reaping the award. So the next person I would like to get into is going to be well, okay, okay, so we have another quote here. So attack your dreams. So just attack your dreams and goals and don't let anything get in the way. When we get into this, you need to have something called Focus, sometimes you need to look at one area that needs adjustment, and really enhance that area. What Natasha Miller really focused on was enhancing and improving her own employee environment. Okay, she was looking at her own employee environment and saying, How can I improve my employee infrastructure, she just focused on attacking that one area. And it helped her with her goal of being this HR superstar that she is now running this big business, improving work culture in many businesses, but she had to focus in on that one specific area. Because when she was dealing with distractions in the past, and let her into a stalemate, she wasn't growing as quickly as she was previous. So again, that's a big key to focusing in on what you really need to do is a big component as well. they cannot, they can to have success, all of us and we can all win." Okay, so essentially, Drew Jackson, again, Pastor moved on to entrepreneurship. And, again, he advises lots and lots of entrepreneurs, or even corporate business executives, on how to enhance their own performance and leadership and performance. And leadership is key to a lot of different things. Jackson is the type of man who can advise practically anybody in those areas, if they're not well versed in leadership, because while we can develop the technical talent, a lot of times people are lacking in that leadership and leadership and skill are different areas that both need to be treated with respect in different areas. And Drew teaches a lot of young people to respect leadership. And again, I'm saying this to you as well respect leadership too, because while it is important to have those hard skills, those technical skills, you need those leadership skills as well. And so his idea of I'm not afraid of putting other people out there, so they can to as success and all of us, and we can all when he puts a lot of people out, he takes people and he essentially helps to build them up and grow them into better leaders, a lot of times drew Additionally, when he's hired by these executive businesses, he doesn't work there, just to help the leader or help the owner, enhance the leadership of this other person, as a manager. He does it for them, he might even tell them to quit their job, if anything. So he puts other people out there. And he sacrifices for those people, so that they can then grow, whether that be within the business or outside the business. And again, this is something we can all do focus on creating value within your business. And then you could create value in other people's lives as well. So the next thing is all of us. So life is "Life's too short, you can get over it, and you can quit." So life is too short, so you can get over it where you can, you can. So quitting, at least in Drew Jackson's life was never really an option. He was a pastor. But additionally, he wanted to break into the business sector as well. He could have moaned, complains about breaking into that business sector, or he could have adjusted to his audience, and actually found the success that he needed. Now again, he's still a religious man, he's still great in that area. I'm a religious man as well. He's still in that area. But right now the audience is resonating with his with corporate businesses. And he got over that change of audience and overcame it to now work in a new area that allowed him to further grow. So again, excellent quote."Live your dream, do what you love." So living your dream and doing what you love is a critical you need to have a good gist of what you wanted. And I mean with me personally or with what I've done, you need to love you not only need to love what you're getting out of something, you need to love doing it. So I think this goes back to this idea of intrinsic motivation. I love speaking to you all right now I don't really care much about what I get out of doing that. I enjoy speaking to you all, and showing to you what you need to do. And this is what it means by living, to live means to kind of be in that moment and enjoy what you're doing right now. And again, the same way, I found that new opportunity as an interviewer, and Drew found that opportunity, as you know, a consultant for a lot of business leaders and enhancing their leadership, you too can find that new opportunity as well. But the key to finding a new opportunity is really just loving what you do. That's the key. All right, Mohan Ananda. "Education is the way to change the world. And people have to be knowledgeable to do the right thing. Believe in your best judgment, what is right to do without expecting any specific return." So just a bit of a Mohan, extremely intelligent man extremely intelligent, he's one of those people where, you know, you speak to him. And you know, he's smart. I've interviewed lots of intelligent people, so you kind of pick them out, without even trying after a while. So, this man is extremely educated, he was successful in many different fields. And again, from being a juror to a scientist to a full on entrepreneur, running stamps.com. He's done it all. And education was his way of empowering himself, and taking his own talents to the next level, and believing in your best judgment. And what's right to do without expecting anything specific in return was sort of how, in a way, if we jump back to Fred how he developed his own sense of gratitude, because he was grateful for the deed itself. He didn't want anything in return, he was thankful for what he already had. And by doing that, he further grew what he was doing. So the next quote, I always tell them to do what they like to do best. So again, he's referring to his children and grandchildren. This is probably this guy's an amazing parents as well, because he was going in depth on how most parents like to have their kids do what they want them to do. And that usually leads to complications. If you're a great musician, be a musician, if you're a great scientist, be a scientist, if you're a great lawyer, be a lawyer, if you're a great artists, being artists, on this show, don't get the wrong idea. You could be anything you want. I have so many diverse people on this show. Anybody can look at anything and do whatever they want, from hypnotists to scientists, spiritual people, okay, from spiritual people, we've got witches, tarot card readers, okay. And then we jump on to entrepreneurs, scientists, who are lawyers, and entrepreneurs like this man, be whatever you want, do what you're good at, do what guides you in that direction, okay, so you need to pursue what you believe in. And that's very important. So the next quote, so every day you learn something new learning is an ongoing process. So learning is very key, for a lot of different reasons. And the way you learn these skills or the way you know, you do these things, is important. Now, whether you learn these skills in one way or another way is different, but it's an ongoing process. And you need to cherish that nobody knows everything. And this is another thing too, I think this is what this call is also teaching as well. Don't be hard on yourself. If you don't know something, ask someone for help. Think about it, okay, but the key is to always continue moving on, there is no end to it. And again, this is coming. And again, you could look at my interview this is coming from an extremely intelligent man. So don't take my word for it, take his word for you knows what he said. Additionally, okay, this has been an amazing, an amazing, amazing privilege to give you all this information. Hopefully you got a lot from this. Hopefully you enjoyed all the interesting nuggets that I've received from interviewing these people, I'll definitely be taking a lot of their insight into my own understanding because again, the learning never stops. As I continue to do these interviews, I continue learning more and more and improving my own life as well. You know, I'm gonna get a bit into this, but uh, just two months ago, I did an update for weight loss. I didn't document my entire weight loss a few years ago, I've actually done a two year weight loss journey. I've dropped about 61 pounds since then, you know, I've gotten healthier I've I've taken care of my health now drinking more water, exercising, being healthier. And I think a lot of the advice that I was getting from health helped jumpstart me in that direction, and even interviewing a lot of people when it leads to things like time management, that helped me to really get my grades up academically, and I have a feeling a lot of the insight that I'm getting from this month, as well, can help to further jumpstart or help to grow myself in the business sector as well. So again, lots of great things are going on. So yeah, thank you again, everyone. This has been a privilege. This is the Jimbo Paris show. Thank you again.
